Traffic Restricted on I-476 Northbound Tonight
Motorists traveling northbound on I-476 between the Lehigh Valley and Mahoning Valley interchanges should expect a single lane traffic pattern starting at 8 p.m. tonight.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission advises motorists traveling northbound on the Turnpike’s Northeastern Extension (I-476), between the Lehigh Valley (Exit #56) and Mahoning Valley (Exit #74) Interchanges, to be prepared for a single lane traffic pattern to be in effect tonight, Monday (July 16) between the hours of 8 p.m. and 7 a.m. tomorrow morning.
Starting at 8 p.m. construction crews will establish a single-lane pattern northbound, closing the left lane between milepost A72-A76 to mill and pave until the pattern is lifted at 7 a.m. Tuesday morning.
The posted speed limit through this work zone will be 40 miles-per-hour. Motorists should stay alert for slow moving or stopped traffic when traveling north of the Lehigh Tunnel.
