Two Arrested In Robbery In Burger King Lot

Police said the victim worked at the fast-food restaurant.

A 25-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy, both from Allentown, have been charged with robbing a female employee of the Burger King at 3105 Hamilton Blvd., South Whitehall.

Police said Antuan D. Dixon, of 2037 Vine St., has been charged with robbery, criminal conspiracy, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. In addition, the 17-year-old boy was charged with tampering with evidence.

According to South Whitehall police, the two approached the employee as she was getting into her vehicle at 5:10 a.m.  One said, "Come on. Give it up, give it up." When she did not react, he hit her in the face while leaning into her vehicle and took her purse and a bank deposit bag, police said. The bank bag contained an undetermined amount of cash.

Dixon was taken to Lehigh County prison, and the juvenile was taken to the Lehigh County Juvenile Detention Center, police said.
