Two Hurt in Route 22 Crash
Three vehicles were involved in an accident Thursday on a section of Route 22 in South Whitehall.

Two people were injured in a three-vehicle crash Thursday on Route 22 in South Whitehall, about 300 feet east of the Route 309 off ramp.
Traffic had slowed on Route 22 eastbound shortly before 5 p.m. because of heavy traffic, when Terrance Kearney, 72, of Breinigsville, hit the rear of a car driven by Micaela Murphy, 21, of Easton, state police at Fogelsville said.
Murphy's car hit the center median then traveled back into the left lane, hitting a vehicle in front of her that was driven by Douglas Rhyner, 53, of Bethlehem.

Kearney had a moderate injury and Murphy had a minor injury, state police said.
