Water Main Flushing Planned Through July 15
South Whitehall Township water customers may see momentary loss of pressure or period of cloudy water at night.
The South Whitehall Township Water Department will be performing routine water main flushing procedures through July 15. During that time, the department will make every effort to provide uninterrupted water service to customers, said James F. Balliet, Water Department foreman.
Customers might experience momentary pressure loss in their water service or have a period of cloudy water during the late evening through early morning hours. These conditions are temporary and should pass within a few minutes, Balliet said. Customers who have questions or want to report a change in water service, can call the township water department Monday through Friday, 6:30 am. to 4:00 p.m. at (610) 398-0407.
