A 23-year-old South Whitehall woman was shot in the right ankle Friday at 12:15 p.m. at her home in the 1300 block of Cornell Drive, police said.
They did not release the woman's name.
The woman was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest to be treated.

Police said no one else in the home was injured.
The shooting is under investigation.
