Work To Begin March 21 on Haines Mill Road Bridge

Drivers will face detours.

Repairs will begin March 21 on the structurally deficient Haines Mill Road Bridge, which crosses Cedar Creek at the grist mill museum.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced the start date to fix the 52-year-old, box-beam bridge on Thursday, at a cost of $629,773.

Crews will replace the bridge's beams and deck. The project also calls for new guide rails, curbing and paving of the bridge approaches.
