2 Charged After Armed Carjacking In Springfield: Police
Police said a Philadelphia man and a Coatesville man were involved in a gunpoint carjacking that occurred Sunday morning.
SPRINGFIELD, PA — Police in Springfield charged two men with robbery and related crimes after they allegedly stole a vehicle at gunpoint Sunday.
Police were called to the Raymour and Flanigan store on the unit block of Baltimore Pike and spoke to a man who said his vehicle was just stolen at gunpoint.
According to police, the victim pulled into a parking space when another vehicle pulled up next to him.

The passenger pointed a gun at the victim then stole the vehicle.
Police said the vehicle was found on Macdade Boulevard in Upper Darby and after a short chase the stolen vehicle crashed and the men fled.

The two were taken into custody in Sharon Hill and identified as Tarik Chambers, 19, of Philadelphia, and Nikeem Leach Hilton, 21, of Coatesville.
They were held for arraignment and take to the George W. Hill Correctional Facility.
