"Aloft" Exhibition at Beauty Art Gallery
"Aloft" explores the essence of elevated height, style, tone, and attitude.
The exhibition, “Aloft,” which explores the essence of elevated height, style, tone, and attitude opens at Beauty Art Gallery, 3857 Providence Rd., Suite 200, Newtown Square (Edgemont Township), on May 8th for a week of public voting for the “People’s Choice” award. The public is then invited to join Beauty Art Gallery for light refreshments, beverages and jazz music by the Leinweber Covatta Duo at the “Aloft” Exhibition opening reception and awards ceremony on May 16th from 5 – 8 p.m. The gallery will award cash and merchandise with a cumulative value of more than $1,400 to winning artists during the reception. Featuring two-dimensional pieces of artwork including paintings, drawings, photography, and mixed media/collage, “Aloft” was juried by artist and educator Madeleine Kelly. “Aloft” runs through June 26, 2015. Gallery hours are Monday – Friday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
