Delco Guitar Studios

I teach electric and acoustic guitar lessons in person close to Springfield and Swarthmore. I have been teaching guitar for over 30 years and have experience teaching all ages of students. I also perform with my classic rock band The Garage Bandits most weekends and can help students get comfortable playing in front of other people. My teaching space is located at 34 Yale Avenue, Morton, PA. Contact me for more information or to set up a free trial lesson! I will be starting a new group guitar class on April 20th! This class will run for 6 sessions over the course of 7 weeks on Mondays from 7:30pm to 8:30pm. The focus of this class will be on teaching song melodies to beginners, such as Ode To Joy by Beethoven and Happy Birthday. Each week I will introduce slightly more complicated melodies that will help develop students' ability to play single note melodies on the guitar.

SPRINGFIELD, PA — Police in Springfield Township charged a man with assault, gun crimes, and more after a domestic incident Monday.According to police, officers were called to the area of the 800 block of West Rolling Road at about 2:56 p.m. Monday for a report of a domestic dispute.Callers told authorities the parties involved were in a vehicle in the area.Springfield and Marple police officers found the vehicle West Rolling Road.There, police said a man ran from police on foot, leading police to chase him on the 400 block of Ridge Lane and into Doe Run Park.Police found the man hiding in bushes on the A-Jon Construction property on Eagle Road.Police found a firearm on the man.According to police, the man was also found to have several outstanding arrest warrants from other jurisdictions.Police did not release the suspect's name.
