Beer Garden and Eatery opens at Springfield GIANT Food Store
Now open at W. Sproul Road GIANT

GIANT Food Stores has opened a new Beer Garden and Eatery in its Springfield, PA store located at 721 W. Sproul Road. The Beer Garden and Eatery seats 30 and is open Monday – Saturday, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sundays, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
“With the holiday season in full swing, we’re excited to provide our Springfield area customers the added convenience of saving time when shopping for all of their entertaining needs,” said Erik Keptner, senior vice president of sales, merchandising & marketing, GIANT. “In addition, we look forward to introducing wine offerings at our Springfield store in the coming weeks.”
Springfield customers will find a vast selection of domestic, imported and craft beers in the Beer Garden and Eatery. Customers currently have a “mix-a-six” option where they can create their own six packs from a variety of craft beers. Customers can also choose from eat-in and take-out selections offered, including sandwiches, wraps and subs, sushi, piping hot soups, baked foods and desserts, and a wide selection of other beverages.

GIANT enforces a 100% proof-of-age policy at the new Beer Garden and Eatery. Cashiers will ask for proper identification – a valid driver’s license, passport or military identification card – from any customer wanting to purchase alcohol, regardless of age.
With this grand opening, a total of 26 GIANT Food Stores and MARTIN’S Food Markets sell beer in Pennsylvania.
