Blood Drive Coming To Springfield Next Week

April is National Volunteer Month, so head out to St. Kevin's Roman Catholic Church April 10 to donate blood!

Continuing its push during National Volunteer Month, the American Red Cross is holding blood drives around Delaware County. If you want to help those in need, the Red Cross is holding a drive on April 10 in Springfield Township.

The drive will be held from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, April 10, at St. Kevin's Roman Catholic Church, 200 W. Sproul Road, Parish Life Center, Springfield.

"I think it’s one of the most rewarding things you can do, knowing that such a simple act can have such a positive impact on another human being in a time of need," Bill Parr, who has been donating blood for more than three decades, said of donating.
