Blotter: 2 Bikes Stolen in Separate Thefts

The following information was supplied by the Springfield Police Department. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven otherwise. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Theft—300 block of E. Springfield Road at about 9:26 p.m. on Jan. 15. A resident reported that sometime during the night some entered his unlocked shed in the rear yard of the home and stole a black and red colored TREK men's bike and a Dewalt cordless hammer drill. The bike was valued at $1,000 and the drill was valued at $250.

Theft—300 block of Parham Road at about 11 a.m. on Jan. 20. A resident reported that sometime during the night someone entered his unlocked shed in the rear of the home and stole his silver colored TREK men's bike. The bike was valued in excess of $400.
