Blotter: $26,000 Jeep Stolen from Dealership
Plus: About $1,000 in tires were stolen from a vehicle service station.

Stolen Property—Bob's Mobil Service Station in the 1100 block of Baltimore Pike at about 1:11 p.m. on Oct. 9. The business reported that eight tires had been stolen from the side of the station. An investigation showed that the tires had been delivered earlier in the morning by UPS and when the attendant went to get the tires to put them on vehicles that were in for service, they were gone. A black man in a white van was observed in the area of the tires prior to the theft. The tires were valued in excess of $1,000. The incident is under investigation by Detective James Devaney.
Stolen Vehicle—Spencer Chevrolet Car Dealership in the 800 block of Baltimore Pike at about 9:45 a.m. on Oct. 13. The business reported that sometime between Oct. 10 and 13, someone stole a black, 2011 Jeep Wrangler from the storage lot of the business. The vehicle was valued in excess of $26,000.
