Bob Deane Mid-Career Retrospective at Community Arts Center
Exhibition opens September 13th and runs through October 16th.

Community Arts Center, 414 Plush Mill Road, Wallingford, PA, is proud to present a Mid-Career Retrospective Exhibition for Media based potter and teacher, Bob Deane. The exhibition, which features a collection of several decades of Deane’s work including sculpture and pottery from various eras in his evolving style, as well as his paintings and drawings, opens on Sunday, September 13th from 2 – 4 p.m. During the opening reception, Deane will give a guided tour of his outdoor work including large sculptural pieces and planters as well as other points of interest on the grounds of the CAC which has been his creative home for over 25 years. An artist who digs locally sourced clay himself for some of his pieces, Deane connects to the earth in ways that potters did centuries ago when this was the only method to obtain clay and creates unique handcrafted tableware and hand carved ceramic sculpture. “Bob Deane Mid-Career Retrospective” runs through October 16th. Gallery hours are Mon.-Thurs. 9 a.m. - 7:30 p.m., Friday – 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. and Saturday – 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
