Body Found Near Delco Creek Identified As Philly Homicide Victim
Jimmy Reynolds Jr. was stabbed to death in Philadelphia, then his body was left near Darby Creek earlier this month, police said.
NORWOOD, PA — Police in Norwood identified a body found near Darby Creek earlier this month.
According to police, the body found the evening of Wednesday, Nov. 9 was that of Jimmy Reynolds Jr., who was reported missing from North Philadelphia on Nov. 4.
Reynolds' body was found at about 5:50 p.m. Nov. 9 after authorities were called to the Norwood section of Darby Crescent Road for a found body.

Police now say the body was dumped there.
Norwood Police and the Delaware County CID Homicide Division within 12 hours learned the decedent was Reynolds.

An autopsy showed that Reynolds was stabbed multiple times and the manner of death was a homicide.
Through investigation, a suspect was developed along with a possible location of the homicide, police said.
A search warrant was executed in the 3700 block of North Darien Street in Philadelphia and through that, investigators were able to confirm the location of Reynolds' killing.
The Homicide Division of the Philadelphia Police Department took over the investigation.
