Who can doubt that creationism, as opposed to evolution, is a better theory to explain our experience in the world? Case in point: An entertainer creates herself and her following (what has recently been called a gaggle.) This gaggle appears to be a new breed of herd animals who practice idol worship in the form of OMG (as in "O my god, I can't believe she bought us all pizza.")
Mind you, the definition of creation is making something out of nothing; so we really have 'nothing' to fear. But when idle-waiting is elevated to the level of worship, human sacrifice has assumed a whole new meaning.
Let's face it: God created man, then created woman and man was finished. But that hasn't stopped us from creating ourselves - usually as someone/thing other than ourselves. So, if evolution is a line of progression, surely creationism is a vicious circle around someone/thing to go ga-ga over.
