Casey Feldman Foundation Launches International Campaign to End Distracted Driving Deaths Among Students
Through our website, EndDD.org (End Distracted Driving), Joel Feldman and the Casey Feldman Foundation is coordinating distracted driving presentations in all 50 states and 10 provinces in Canada to coincide with National Distracted Driving Awareness Month in April. This effort is being coordinated with more than 750 traffic safety professionals, judges and lawyers across the country. Local presentations are currently scheduled for more than 20 high schools in PA and NJ and new locations are being added weekly.
Casey Feldman was a 2006 graduate of and a 21-year-old senior journalism student at Fordham University when she was struck and killed by a distracted driver in Ocean City, New Jersey on July 17, 2009. The Casey Feldman Memorial Foundation was established in her memory and is involved in pedestrian safety and distracted driving awareness education.
Visit EndDD.org to learn more, to request a presentation in your area, or to contribute to help defray the costs of this program.
