Solo Artist Spotlight: Frank Bisciotti

Local Frank Bisciotti is very talented!

Hello Beautiful People!

This week’s Solo Artist spotlight is shining on a local guy that I have had the pleasure of knowing for years! His name is Frank Bisciotti, and he very talented! If you know of him, you know what I mean. He’s the kind of guy that can take any song, from any genre, put a little twist on it, and own it as if he had written it.

When I started my research for the Venue Spotlight on The “late” Coffee Club, I was reminded of fond memories. That was the place where I first met Frank. He was hosting the open mic and playing some covers and some of his own stuff as well. I was instantly impressed and even though I saw him about 30 times at those open mics, I was always glad to hear him.

From Frank’s MySpace: “…Frank learned to play a wide variety of musical instruments, focusing on his rhythm and tone. With the persuasion of his high school English teacher and some close friends, he started writing songs at the age of 16. Shortly after he wrote his first song as a book report, Frank discovered the open mic sub culture. In June 2004, Frank started hosting the Coffee Club’s open mic in his hometown of Media. He also is responsible for creating “live music weekends”, a program where he books and promotes live music for the Coffee Club. Frank graduated from West Chester University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies and a dual-minor in Professional Education and Information Technologies.”

I don’t know of any gigs on his schedule, so if I were you, I would “Like” his Facebook page and keep yourself updated!
