The "Organic" Craze
Better start living. Why is something that has been taken for granted (from nature) by agriculture, from its beginning, be a novelty now?
I get a kick out of the "Buy organic" craze - at higher cost, mind you. Shouldn't every farm have a ready supply of vegetable and animal parts that it can compost to make fields organic?

I remember a neighbor who bragged to me that his garden was fertilized with horse manure obtained from a horse farm (no s*#t!)

I remember thinking that it was probably better if he just said that his garden was organic.
Now, unfortunately, we have better living (profits?) through chemistry and all these things (like margarine and sugar substitutes) that, when compared to the real thing, taste like full-strength manure(no s*#t!)

I was walking through a wooded park the other day. I noticed a most-beautiful blue bird. It flitted from tree to tree as I kept pace following it with an upward glance as I walked along the path.
