Car Stolen, Others Broken Into In Springfield: Police

Springfield Township Police said several cars were broken into early Wednesday morning, and one was stolen.

SPRINGFIELD, PA — Police in Springfield are alerting the public to numerous thefts from vehicles, as well as a stolen vehicle, in the township.

Springfield Police and other nearby departments took multiple reports of thefts from vehicles.

In Springfield, the thefts occurred in the areas of the 400 block of Maplewood Road and the 300 block of South Rolling Road.

The thefts occurred at about 3 a.m. Wednesday.

Additionally, a vehicle was stolen from a driveway on the 400 block of Maplewood Road, police said.

Police are asking residents in the area to review any security camera footage for suspicious persons or vehicles that may be involved in these thefts.

Anyone who has footage related to the thefts is asked to contact police on Facebook, Twitter, department website, or by calling 911.

Police in Newtown Township reported overnight vehicle break-ins, as well.
