Cash, Loose Change Stolen From Unlocked Cars

Springfield Police are investigating a number of thefts from cars.

• A resident from the 700 block of Timber Trail Lane reported Nov. 5 that sometime during the night someone entered his unlocked vehicle and stole a large quantity of cash and change from an attaché case while the vehicle was parked in the driveway of the home.
• Another resident from the 700 block of Timber Trail Lane reported Nov. 5 that sometime during the night someone entered his unlocked vehicle and stole a quantity of loose change while the vehicle was parked in the driveway of the home.
• A resident from the 300 block of Hemlock Lane reported Nov. 5 that sometime during the night someone entered his unlocked vehicle and stole a quantity of loose change while the vehicle was parked in the driveway of the home.
• A resident from the 700 block of W. Rolling Road reported Nov. 5 that sometime during the night someone entered his unlocked vehicle and stole some loose paperwork while the vehicle was parked in the driveway of the home. The interior of the vehicle was rummaged through.
