Charlie Brown's Under New Ownership After Chapter 11 Bankruptcy

Charlie Brown's has emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy under new ownership with an eye on expansion, public relations representatives said.

New ownership took over last summer with plans to expand the restaurant chain with more locations and menu items.

Tom Moxcey, Charlie Brown’s new president, said sales have already improved more than 12 percent in the last three months.

The new owners are investing more than $10 million in the venture, saving more than 1,100 jobs.

After taking ownership in late summer, they have re-opened and completely renovated various locations to bring the total restaurants in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania to 21 locations.
