Chinese Restaurant Damaged By Fire Monday Night In Delco

SPRINGFIELD, PA – Fire tore through a Chinese food restaurant in Springfield Township Monday night, according to local fire companies and media reports.

A fire broke out at about 11 p.m. at the Dynasty Hibachi Grill & Buffet in the Stoney Creek Shopping Center on the 400 block of Baltimore Pike, according to the Springfield Fire Company.

The Broomall Fire Company said the fire was in the building's roof.

Action News reports it took crews about two hours to quell the blaze.

While no injuries were reported, the Delaware County Daily times reports the restaurant and other adjacent buildings sustained damage from the fire.

Investigators are looking into what caused the fire.
