Considering Solar for Your Home? Now Is the Time with Solarize Greater Media!
Solarize Greater Media is part of the award-winning “Solarize” bulk-purchase residential solar program offered across the US. It only makes sense for the Media area to take advantage of it too! Solarize is available for residents of municipalities within about a 5-mile radius of Media PA and is a limited-time offer only available through May 12, 2016.
Transition Town Media will host five area workshops on how to “Solarize”.

Our Solarize workshops introduce you to the program and give you a chance to sign up, starting with a free solar assessment. It couldn’t be easier, cheaper, or less hassle to get solar and free yourself from high electric bills!
· Easy – we’ve vetted the local solar installers to find the ones you can trust. If you decide to go solar, they’ll do high quality work installing your panels. We’ve also lined up special solar loan packages with local financial institutions that will help you finance your project with low rates.
· Affordable – as a result of bulk purchasing and high community involvement, you’ll be able to get big discounts on the installation costs – think, 12-20% below market! You can also get a 30% federal tax credit.
· Less hassle – we’re working with the local governments to ease the approval process. We’ll work with you so you can have solar on your home!
So join a workshop and see how you can benefit from solar energy! Get all your neighbors to come too – the more solar homes, the bigger the discounts, and the more we reduce our carbon footprint!
We’re very excited to be partnering with the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC), the Delaware County Planning Department, and the Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union on this innovative program.
