Credit, Debit Cards Taken from Purse, Police Say
The victim's credit cards were taken from her purse while she dined at a popular and usually crowded Springfield eatery.

The following information was supplied by the Springfield Police Department. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven otherwise. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
Theft—Panera Bread in the 1000 block of Baltimore Pike between 12:30 and 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 10. A Conshohocken resident reported that someone stole her debit card and credit cards from her pocketbook while she was eating at restaurant. She did not realize that the theft had taken place until she was contacted by the credit card company about unusual use of her cards at local stores. The remainder of the cards had been cancelled before they were used. The victim's debit card had also been used for a cash withdraw at a local store. The incident is under investigation by Detective James Devaney.
