Delco Hosting 2 Drive-Thru Food Drives Saturday
One drive will be held Saturday morning at Upper Darby High School and another will be in the afternoon at Park Lane Elementary School.
DELAWARE COUNTY, PA β Delaware County is hosting two drive-thru food collection events this weekend to support those in need during the coronavirus pandemic.
The Delaware County Department of Human Services, Rep. Mary Gay Scanlon, State Sen. Anthony Williams, and State Reps. Margo Davidson, Joanna McClinton, Maria Donatucci, and Mike Zabel will host two drives Saturday in Delaware County.
One drive will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at Upper Darby High School, 601 N. Lansdowne Ave. in Drexel Hill and another from 1 to 4 p.m. at Park Lane Elementary School, 1300 Park Lane in Darby.

Items collected will be distributed to various food pantries and organizations in the area to support local families in need.
Items being brought for donation should be put in your trunk. Staff at both events will remove the items from your trunk, ensuring contactless drop offs.

- peanut butter
- canned meats and tuna
- stews
- soups
- cereal
- paper towels
- toilet paper
- dish soap
- laundry detergent
- toothpaste
- deodorant
- bar soap for bathing
- baby diapers
- baby wipes
- formula
- hand sanitizer
- cleaning wipes
