DUI Crash, Thefts, Fight, More: Springfield Crime Blotter
A man was kicked and had his watch stolen by fellow party goers Saturday evening, according to police. See details on this and more here.
SPRINGFIELD, PA — Police in Springfield Township issued their weekly crime blotter Monday.
Incidents in the blotter occurred between May 22 and May 28.

May 22 at 11 a.m.
Sometime over the weekend, a tree was uprooted and a branch broken from a second tree on the Township property behind the Wawa, 100 block of Saxer Avenue.
May 22 at 5:11 p.m.
A member of LAFitness 800 block of Baltimore Pike reported his gym bag was stolen from his locker. An unauthorized credit transaction was later found on one of his credit cards that was in the bag.

May 22 at 9:46 p.m.
A male and female in Wawa 100 block of Saxer Avenue stole three cartons of cigarettes and two drinks after they presented a credit card for payment that was denied.
May 23 at 2 a.m.
Officers investigated a crash in which a vehicle drove on two properties on the 300 block of North Bishop Avenue and continued to drive. Upper Darby Police found the vehicle on a side street nearby. Officers identified the driver and found her to be intoxicated. The 31-year-old female from Drexel Hill was taken into custody and submitted to a blood test. Charges for DUI and traffic offenses are pending.
May 25 at 1:36 p.m.
A shopper at Dollar Tree, 400 block of Baltimore Pike, reported she had been distracted by a female and later found her wallet had been stolen. Two unauthorized purchases on her credit card were found to have occurred after the theft.
May 25 at 2:08 p.m.
Target security at the mall reported stopping two juvenile females and an adult male after they stole over $200 worth of cosmetics and clothing. All three were brought to headquarters and found in possession of stolen merchandise from several other stores in the mall. Two from Philadelphia and one from Upper Darby were all later released to family. Charges for Retail Theft will be filed.
May 26 at 9:10 a.m.
CVS, 700 block of Baltimore Pike, reported a male had stolen over $300 worth of allergy medication and first aid and left the store. Responding officers located the male on a bus on Baltimore Pike and took him into custody. The 39-year-old male from Media was later provided medical attention at a hospital and turned over to Delaware County Sheriffs on a warrant for probation violation. Charges for Retail Theft will be filed.
May 26 at 3:29 p.m.
A member of LAFitness, 800 block of Baltimore Pike, had his gym bag rummaged and items from his wallet stolen.
May 27 at 3:33 a.m.
An 18-year-old male from Springfield will be charged with Underage Drinking and Public Drunkenness after being observed stumbling in the highway on the 500 block of West Springfield Road. He was found to be intoxicated and turned over to his family.
May 27 at 5:15 p.m.
Officers responded to the Springfield Square South shopping center to investigate a fight. The actors had left the area, and the victim was found inside a vehicle. He had been kicked by several attendees of a birthday party which he attended. The victim suffered facial injuries and had his watch stolen.
May 27 at 10:25 p.m.
Officers located numerous people inside Walsh Park playing on the baseball field after hours. Several of the people were identified as juveniles, but one was found to be a 50-year-old male who became angry and who began to question officers about why they were there. All left the park, and the 50-year-old male from Springfield will be charged with Parks Violation.
May 28 at 3:16 p.m.
A member of LAFitness reported his wallet was stolen from a locker. Several unauthorized credit transactions occurred on a credit card that had been in the wallet.
