Soprano Jacqueline Dunleavy will present an all-Irish concert at Covenant United Methodist Church, Springfield Rd. and Saxer Ave., Springfield, on Friday, March 16 at 7:30 p.m. She will be accompanied by Samantha Wittchen (harp) and Dawn Stevens (piano).
The program will include traditional Irish ballads, such as The Last Rose of Summer and Danny Boy, rousing Irish folk songs, and songs that explore the heritage of Irish writers and poets with selections from 20th Century composers such as Samuel Barber and Roger Quilter.
