Springfield High School Jazz Band Alumni....We’re looking for YOU! The SHS and ETR Jazz Bands are inviting ALL former SHS Jazz Band Alumni to join us for our “Jazz Under the Stars” concert at Springfield High School on June 1 at 6 p.m. This Jazz reunion will provide a new standard for any alumni who kept a backbeat or improvised a solo during their time at Springfield. Participants will reconnect with old friends and reassemble their instruments to form the first ever SHS Alumni Jazz Band. The band will give its premiere performance as part of the “Jazz Under the Stars” gig on June 2nd.
All former SHS Jazz musicians are requested to gather for a rehearsal on Wednesday May, 30, 2012, 6:00-9:00 PM in the Springfield High School Band Room. Bring your horns; bass and drums will be provided. If you do need to borrow an instrument please let us know and we’ll see what we can work out.
