Introduction to Watercolor

Introduction to watercolor painting (no experience necessary).

Saturday May 21st, 5 to 7 p.m.

At Peace Center of Delaware County (Springfield Friends Meeting)

Optional: bring an item to paint.

Open to adults, young adults, and kids 10 and up if accompanied by an adult.

Free (no charge). Small donations for cost of materials are welcome, but optional.

Sponsored by "the Blank Canvas", a monthly creativity circle. We gather monthly to honor the source of inspiration, however we each may define it, and celebrate creativity by experiencing various creative and artistic media. We meet in an accepting and non-critical environment. A good place if you are just starting to explore your creativity or want to share the experience with others.

In the past we have done: watercolor, crayon drawing, writing exercises, sharing of visual journals, and giving out postcards and pebbles painted with healing peaceful messages (a random act of art). In the future: come and give us your ideas of what you would like to do.
