Harpist Janet Witman Performs Sacred Music at Covenant Methodist Church

The choirs of Covenant United Methodist Church, under the direction of Sarah Batchelor, will perform a service of special music. Beginning with an extended prelude at 10:15am and continuing through the 10:30am service, the adult and children’s choirs, along with guest harpist, Janet Witman, will perform well-known hymns and other sacred works by John Rutter, Kevin Oldham, and Gabriel Fauré.

Ms. Witman, a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music, has been playing professionally for over 25 years. She is a fulltime performer of both the classical and celtic harp. She performs regularly with local symphonies and ensembles and was the resident harpist in the Green Room of the Hotel Dupont for 20 years.

Parking, including special parking for seniors, is available in the lot adjacent to the church. The sanctuary is handicapped accessible, and handicapped parking is available in front of the church on Saxer Ave. Assistive hearing devices are also available upon request.
