MN Players presents FIFTH OF JULY

MN Players kicks off its 71st season with Lanford Wilson's Fifth of July, which will open Sept. 16 and run three weekends. Alternately funny and moving, this brilliant, enthralling play, directed by Cindy N. Walton, deals with a group of former student activists and the changes that have been wrought in their lives and attitudes in the years since leaving college. 

Fifth of July, produced by special arrangements with Dramatists Play Service, and runs Sept. 16, 17 23, 24, 25 (Matinee), and 30, and Oct 1. Some material and language may not be suitable for children. All performances begin at 8 p.m., except the Sept. 25 matinee, which begins at 2 p.m., and will be held at Swarthmore United Methodist Church, 129 Park Avenue, Swarthmore, PA 19081.

General-admission tickets cost $14 each at the door, and $12 apiece in advance; senior/student tickets cost $11 apiece at the door, and $9 each in advance. For more information, call 610-328-1079, e-mail mnplayers1@yahoo.com, or go online to www.mnplayers.org. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Group seating is reserved. MNP has a handicapped-accessible facility. While making a reservation, you can indicate how the theater can accommodate you in the “Optional Message” field when checking out, or by specifying on the phone line.  New this season available for a limited time: The Mainstage Advance Ticket Package: for $30 general admission ($25 senior), you will receive an advance ticket for Fifth of July, Necessary Targets, and An Inspector Calls. Due to limited seating, call 610-328-1079 at least 24 hours before performance to ensure availability.
