Fisher Phillips Attorney and Swarthmore Resident Ranked Among Top in Chambers USA 2016
Forty-four of the Firm's Attorneys Nationwide Recognized This Year

PHILADELPHIA (May 27, 2016) – Fisher Phillips, a national labor and employment law firm, announced today that Christopher P. Stief, regional managing partner of its Philadelphia office, is featured in Chambers USA 2016. Each year, Chambers USA publishes a list of the top law firms and attorneys across the United States. It determines rankings through thousands of in-depth interviews with randomly selected attorneys, clients and businesses.
Stief is among 44 Fisher Phillips attorneys nationwide recognized by Chambers USA 2016. The firm was also ranked as one of the top labor and employment law firms in the United States.
As managing partner of the Philadelphia office, Christopher Stief represents employers in a full range of labor and employment matters. He serves as Chair of the firm's Employee Defection and Trade Secrets Practice Group, a national and international practice focusing on employee defection and recruitment, including litigating injunction and damages actions relating to: covenants not to compete, non-solicitation and non-disclosure agreements, unfair competition, employee raiding, trade secrets, duty of loyalty, the Computer Fraud & Abuse Act, the Economic Espionage Act, the Defend Trade Secrets Act, and state trade secrets and unfair competition statutes.

Stief has handled more than 500 employee defection and recruitment matters in approximately 65 state and federal courts in 45 states, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico, as well as matters arising out of Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. In addition to litigating, Stief drafts restrictive covenants and helps clients develop programs to protect competitive assets against employee defection, and to minimize risks when hiring from competitors.
A resident of Swarthmore, Delaware County, Stief was also listed as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer this year. He is a past Co-Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association Labor & Employment Law Committee, and presently serves as Co-Chair of the Delaware County Bar Association Labor & Employment Law Committee.
