Gun, Assault Charges Filed After Springfield Domestic Incident
A 30-year-old Philadelphia man is accused of assaulting and threatening a family member in Springfield Township back in late July.
SPRINGFIELD, PA — Police in Springfield Township charged a Philadelphia man with assault and firearm crimes after a domestic incident on July 31.
According to police, officers were called to the area of West Rolling and Eagle roads on that date.
There, police found a person who had been assaulted and threatened with a weapon by a family member.

Police said the suspect had left the area, but was found shortly at a nearby commercial property.
Maliq Smith-Lemon, 30, of Philadelphia, was found, as was a gun.

Smith-Lemon was taken into custody and charged.
According to police, Smith-Lemon also had warrants out of Plymouth Township and Philadelphia.
Smith-Lemon was held for arraignment, police said.
