Gun Theft, Catalytic Converter Theft, More: Springfield Crime Blotter
Police said the keys to a vehicle were taken from an LA Fitness locker room and were used to get into a vehicle, from which a gun was taken.
SPRINGFIELD, PA — Police in Springfield Township issued their weekly crime blotter Monday.
Incidents in the blotter occurred between Oct. 10 and Oct. 16.

Oct. 10 at 12:22 p.m.
A patron of the LAFitness reported cash was taken from a bag he had stored in a locker inside the locker room.
Oct. 12 at 2:49 p.m.
Four juveniles from Lansdowne were taken into custody and were charged with Disorderly Conduct after they refused to leave the Urban Air business, 1200 block of East Woodland Avenue, and were yelling at employees inside. Upon arrival of police, the four went outside but continued to scream and kicked the door to the business. They were later turned over to their parent.

Oct. 11 at 7:35 p.m.
Robert Blake, 31, of New Castle, Delaware, was taken into custody after Macy’s security at the mall reported he stole close to $1,000 worth of clothing and shoes. He was held for arraignment and later transported to Delaware County Prison.
Oct. 13 at 6:45 a.m.
A resident of the 500 block of Maddock Road reported that sometime overnight, someone walked on the property and damaged a maple tree by cutting all the branches. Det. McNeely is investigating.
Oct. 13 at 4:07 p.m.
Best Buy security, 600 block of Baltimore Pike, reported two females stole camera equipment and left the store and area in a vehicle. Responding officers stopped the vehicle and identified the females as 33-year-old from Philadelphia and 27-year-old from Chester. They were taken into custody and later released. Charges for Retail Theft will be filed.
Oct. 15 at 2:01 a.m.
A resident of the Rolling Green Apartments, 200 block of North State Road, heard a saw and saw a male underneath a Honda vehicle in the lot. The male ran to Memorial Park Drive and left in a waiting vehicle. It was found that the catalytic converter was cut from the Honda.
Oct. 15 at 3:28 p.m.
A 42-year-old female from Clifton Heights was taken into custody and will be charged with Retail Theft after Macy’s security at the mall reported she stole $174 worth of clothing.
Oct. 16 at 6:52 p.m.
A resident of the 400 block of Maddock Road reported someone stole a displayed Ukraine flag from the front of his property.
Oct. 16 at 7:29 p.m.
A patron of LAFitness reported he stowed a shirt and car keys inside an unlocked locker in the locker room while he exercised. The keys were stolen and used to enter his vehicle. The subject stole the victim’s wallet and a handgun from inside the vehicle. Det. McNeely is investigating.
