Havertown Woman Charged With DUI, Underage Drinking

A Havertown woman has been charged with underage drinking and driving under the influence following a traffic stop Dec. 15 on West Sproul Road.

Patrolman David DiTrolio was on duty at 11:43 p.m. Dec. 15 on the 900 block of West Sproul Road when he noticed a car being driving recklessly, police said. The vehicle was stopped and DiTrolio determined that the driver, Bridget Marley, 20, of the 600 block of Country Club Lane in Havertown, was intoxicated.

Marley was transported to Springfield Hospital for bloodwork, and then was taken to the Springfield Police Station, where she was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, underage drinking and related motor-vehicle violations. She was released to a relative.

Detective James Devaney is handling the investigation.
