Indie Comedy, "The Yank," Screens at Vinyl Revival
"The Yank" is a comedy about finding your roots…with beer.

Vinyl Revival, 35-37 N. Lansdowne Avenue, Lansdowne, continues its indie film screening series, First Friday Flicks in association with FirstGlance Film Festival, in its Vault theater with the comedy feature film, “The Yank,” by Sean Lackey and starring Colm Meaney, Fred Willard, and Kevin P. Farley, on Friday, March 6th at 7:30 p.m. First Friday Flicks will also screen on Saturdays each month at 2 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided free of charge on First Friday but guests are welcome to BYOB and snacks to all screenings. Tickets are $8, $5 for students and seniors, and are available online at www.vinylrevivalrecords.com or in-person up until show time at Vinyl Revival.
“The Yank,” billed as a comedy about finding your roots…with beer, tells the story of Irish American Tom Murphy, a middle-aged Cleveland bachelor, who plans to find his dreams but instead, takes himself and his friends on a journey of discovery to a land that defies his original expectations. He may discover that the grass isn’t always greener, even in Ireland. “The Yank” was shot on location in Cleveland, Dublin and County Clare, Ireland.
