Jewelry Store Robber Makes Off With $7,000 Bracelet

As an employee was holding a 5-carat diamond tennis bracelet, a man forcibly removed it from her hand and fled the Littman Jewelers store in Springfield Mall.

Police seek information regarding a robbery at the at Springfield Mall that was reported Dec. 6 at 9:40 p.m.

Officer Scott Francis responded and met with store employees.

Employees said a black male entered the business and began browsing. The man then asked to view two diamond bracelets.

As the employee was holding the second bracelet, a 5-carat diamond tennis bracelet, the man forcibly removed it from her hand and fled the store.

He was last seen leaving the main entrance facing Baltimore Pike.

The loss to the store is $7,399.

The robber is described as a black male, 6'-3" tall, clean cut, wearing a black jacket, black pants and a skull cap.
