Local Foundations Build a Pipeline for STEM Leaders
Press release for the YMWIC Foundation regarding grant awards from local foundations.
The YMIC Foundation (dba YMWIC Foundation) has been selected as the recipient of several prestigious grants in support of its efforts to help students throughout southeastern PA improve their academic scores in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) courses and ultimately, inspire them to pursue a career or degree in the STEM fields.

YMWIC provides children in grades K-12 with access to after school programming, including: tutoring sessions, mentoring and job shadowing workshops, and the opportunity to develop hands-on experience in topics ranging from environmental and forensic science to biochemistry and robotics.
