SPRINGFIELD, PA — Police in Springfield Township issued an alert about potentially stolen mail Monday.

Police said they believe mail was stolen from the mailbox outside the township building between Saturday afternoon and Sunday evening.

Anyone who put a person check in the mailbox between Saturday afternoon and Sunday night should consider canceling the check or stopping payment, police said.
