Man Charged With 53 Counts Related To Springfield Car Break Ins

A 29-year-old Philadelphia man is facing numerous charges related to vehicle break-ins in Springfield Township.

SPRINGFIELD, PA — A Philadelphia man is facing more than 50 counts of charges related to breaking into vehicles in Springfield Township.

According to Springfield Police, Nicholas Dorner, 29, of Philadelphia, has been charged with 53 counts of various crimes in connection with theft from vehicles in Springfield.

Dorner faces 21 counts of theft from a vehicle, 13 counts or loitering or prowling at night, four counts of identity theft, and 17 counts of access device fraud, according to court documents.

He was held after failing to post $75,000 bail, court records show
