At about 11:49 a.m. on Oct. 21, 2016, Darby Borough Police were called to the 600 block of Darby Terrace for a report of a stabbing victim, the DA's office said.
The first arriving officer was directed to the kitchen where the Siryon was found on the floor near the sink with multiple lacerations on her chest, according to the DA's office.
Local police launched a crime scene investigation with help from the Pennsylvania State Police and during the investigation, authorities learned that on May 26, 2016, the Siryon filed a police report against her ex-boyfriend for threatening to kill her, the DA's office said.
Witnesses described Kiadee as abusive and violent in nature, with one witness telling police that Siryon was afraid of Kiadee, as he had threatened and stalked the victim, telling her, "If I can’t have you, then no other man will have you," according to authorities. The victim ultimately ended the romantic relationship with Kiadee because he was extremely violent, the DA's office said.
As the result of video surveillance which confirmed Kiadee’s whereabouts on the day of the murder along with witness testimony and cooperation, Kiadee was arrested by Darby Borough Police for the murder of Siryon on October 21, 2016, authorities said.
"The defendant in this case, Hussain Kiadee, is a violent and dangerous man who brutally murdered his former girlfriend in her own home, needlessly cutting her life tragically short," Copeland said. "While we are extremely satisfied with this conviction, we know that it will not bring back the life of the victim, Fabine Sunny Siryon, nor will it undo the damage this brutal murder caused to her family and loved ones and the surrounding community. We commend the community and individuals who came forward to provide valuable testimony in this case which resulted in this conviction. I would like to commend Assistant District Attorney Ryan Grace for his outstanding efforts to bring this case to justice, and Detective Brian Pitts and the Darby Borough Police Department for conducting a swift and thorough investigation that led to the quick apprehension of this dangerous and violent individual."
