I teach electric and acoustic guitar lessons in person close to Springfield and Swarthmore. I have been teaching guitar for over 30 years and have experience teaching all ages of students. I also perform with my classic rock band The Garage Bandits most weekends and can help students get comfortable playing in front of other people. My teaching space is located at 34 Yale Avenue, Morton, PA. Contact me for more information or to set up a free trial lesson! I will be starting a new group guitar class on April 20th! This class will run for 6 sessions over the course of 7 weeks on Mondays from 7:30pm to 8:30pm. The focus of this class will be on teaching song melodies to beginners, such as Ode To Joy by Beethoven and Happy Birthday. Each week I will introduce slightly more complicated melodies that will help develop students' ability to play single note melodies on the guitar.

SPRINGFIELD, PA — A man died after being struck by a vehicle in Delaware County over the weekend.Springfield Police said a man was hit by a vehicle on the 100 block of North State Road Sunday morning.The man was hit by a vehicle in the southbound lane of the road.Emergency responders pronounced the man dead at the scene and the driver stayed on scene with responders.The man's identity has not been released.The Delaware County Crash Investigation Team is investigating the crash. Anyone who has information on the crash is asked to contact Dec. McNeely at 610-544-5504.
