Wanted Man Sexually Touched Minor At Delco Store: Police

PROSPECT PARK, PA — An unidentified suspect is wanted for indecent assault after police say he inappropriately touched a minor Monday inside a Delaware County store.

The assault happened at Dollar Tree on Chester Pike, said Prospect Park Police Chief Dave Madonna.

Madonna has shared multiple posts with surveillance footage and images of the suspect, who remained unidentified entering Friday.

After the assault, the suspect traveled west on Chester Pike and changed his appearance inside a McDonald's, Madonna said. He then continued down Chester Pike in the direction of Ridley Township and Ridley Park.

Madonna said the victim is safe and wasn't physically injured during the assault.

"She handled an incredibly difficult and frightening situation with remarkable composure," Madonna said. "After being inappropriately touched, she immediately took her younger sister into a public restroom, locked the door, and called for help. Those quick actions were exactly the right thing to do and likely helped prevent the situation from escalating."
