NEW SPRINGFIELD HS FOOTBALL COACH CONTINUES COMMUNITY FUNDRAISER

SPRINGFIELD (May 7) – Change is all around the Springfield
football program.  After more than 10
years as an assistant coach, Chris Britton is the new head football coach.  And after two successful turns at
Springfield, the Mattress Fundraiser’s mobile showroom is also going to look a
little bit different when it rolls back into town on May 17th.

This time around, customers will have the option to
purchase Simmons BeautyRest mattresses in addition to the high-quality Southerland and award-winning Restonic ComfortCare mattresses that have always
been available.  According to Dave Cox,
the Philadelphia representative of Custom Fundraising Solutions, “Our company is all about creating win-win scenarios for the groups we raise funds for.  Adding the BeautyRest brand to our lineup is great

for everybody involved.  BeautyRest is
probably the most famous mattress brand there is, and we are proud to carry
their beds.  Now customers can buy the
latest mattress technology from a company they’ve trusted their entire

life.  And by purchasing at the
fundraiser, they save a lot of money compared to shopping in a retail store.  And to top it all off, they help raise
thousands of dollars for the football team.”

As the new coach, Britton has no plans to make major
changes to the Springfield football program, but he certainly does have a “wish
list” of equipment that he would love to have.
The players, meanwhile, have their own agenda.  They have already selected a new, alternate
jersey that they want to buy.  Britton
has decided to be the nice guy on this one and says he will designate a portion
of the money raised at the mattress sale towards the new jerseys.

Springfield Football has hosted the Mattress Fundraiser
each of the past two seasons and they have been very successful with this
unique, community-based fundraiser.  In
just two days of selling mattresses, the football program has raised more than
$5,500.

According to Dave Cox, the response from the community has
been great.  He said that one of last
year’s customers actually took the time to email him some positive feedback.  She wrote, “My son is a football player (freshman) at Springfield High School.
I have been meaning to email you about his new bed that we purchased at the
fundraiser in school.  HE LOVES IT.
We bought a full size bed at the fundraiser in May [2013]. We are very
happy with our purchase and would definitely recommend.  The phone call to
confirm delivery went like you said and the guys were quick and polite and
helpful.  You and your staff were
pleasurable to deal with at the sale and you have a good product.”

The Mattress Fundraiser is a unique and successful fundraising
program that has been sweeping the country since 2005. With nearly 50 locations
nationwide, Custom Fundraising Solutions transforms a local high school gym or

cafeteria into an elegant mattress showroom for one day. Teams spend a few

weeks promoting the event and on the day of the sale, they sell enough

mattresses to make thousands of much-needed dollars for the kids. The community
embraces the sale because they are getting a product they need at a savings of
up to 60% off retail.
