I teach electric and acoustic guitar lessons in person close to Springfield and Swarthmore. I have been teaching guitar for over 30 years and have experience teaching all ages of students. I also perform with my classic rock band The Garage Bandits most weekends and can help students get comfortable playing in front of other people. My teaching space is located at 34 Yale Avenue, Morton, PA. Contact me for more information or to set up a free trial lesson! I will be starting a new group guitar class on April 20th! This class will run for 6 sessions over the course of 7 weeks on Mondays from 7:30pm to 8:30pm. The focus of this class will be on teaching song melodies to beginners, such as Ode To Joy by Beethoven and Happy Birthday. Each week I will introduce slightly more complicated melodies that will help develop students' ability to play single note melodies on the guitar.

SPRINGFIELD, PA — Police in Springfield Township said there is no threat to the Springfield School District after a concerning social media post was found.According to police, they learned of a social media post that could have been seen as a threat to E.T. Richardson Middle School Sunday.The district and police identified the poster and determined there was no threat to the district after an investigation.There is no word on what the post said or who posted it.
