Obituary: Anthony J. Gaeta

Anthony J. Gaeta, formerly of Broomall, passed away on March 30, 2012. Mr. Gaeta, 98 years young, a retired auto mechanic, has been living with his daughter Maryanne Bush for the past four years in , Delaware County, Pennsylvania.

Mr. Gaeta spent most of his life as an automobile mechanic and business owner. He retired from his business Gaeta’s Garage at age 70. He was pre-deceased by his wife Lily in 1969 and son Robert in 1977. He is survived by his daughter Maryanne Bush and son in law Thomas Bush, his two grandsons Michael and Douglas Torone, two great-grandchildren, Christopher Kearney and Evan Torone and his only remaining brother Nicholas Gaeta. Mr. Gaeta’s hobbies included clown performances, dancing and he owned a large CD collection of music. Mr. Gaeta will be remembered for his zest for life, youthful energy, charitable, giving nature and lifetime dedication to his trade from age 15 until his retirement.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at , 200 West Sproul Road, Springfield, PA from 10 -11 a.m., with a funeral Mass to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be at .
