Rose F. Kolb, 93
Mrs. Rose F. (nee Gray) Kolb, age 93, died on Oct. 18, 2011 at her home in Springfield, Pa.
The homemaker was born in Bristol, Pa. She was a graduate of West Catholic School for Girls. She was a resident of Springfield since 1965.

Mrs. Kolb once served as Chairperson for the House Committee for the Philadelphia Society for the Preservation of Landmarks. She was a former member of the Women’s Board of Thomas Jefferson University and was a founding member of the Friends of Independence National Historical Park.
Mrs. Kolb was a long time member of in Springfield.

She was skilled at needlework and as a seamstress. She was an avid traveler and served as a volunteer at the St. Francis of Assisi School library for many years.
She is survived by a daughter, Frances Delmar of Springfield, Pa., a son, J. Barry Kolb of Jackson, NJ, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Kolb in September 2011.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011, after 9:30 a.m. until the time of her funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 136 Saxer Avenue, Springfield, Pa. 19064.
Inurnment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, Pa.
