
's football team played Roman Catholic tough for one half on Saturday afternoon, then everything seemed to come apart for the Lions in a 33-14 loss.
This is still a young team, comprised mostly of sophomores and juniors. Some of that inexperience showed against powerful Roman Catholic.
“Roman Catholic spread the ball out on us and it was a learning experience for us,” Lions’ right offensive tackle Hunter Tierney said.

“There was some confusion on some things, but nothing that can’t be fixed. We didn’t play our best game. It could have been a whole other game if we did play our best game. Our offensive line, I thought, did a pretty good job. We were getting assignments done, it’s just that things weren’t really there. We were running right into their strengths. The way they lined up, we couldn’t find a way around them.”
O’Hara will host winless Penn Wood this Saturday at 2 p.m. The Patriots have been outscored 194-14 in four games. O’Hara has rescheduled its game against Haverford School for Friday, Nov. 18 at O’Hara, at 2 p.m.
