Pair Threw Baby To Ground After Stealing Formula: Springfield PD

The couple here are wanted for stealing baby formula then throwing a car seat with a child in it after they were confronted by security.

SPRINGFIELD, PA — Police in Springfield Township are asking for help identifying a couple who are accused of stealing baby formula then throwing a child in a car seat to the ground after being confronted by store security.

The incident occurred at about 8:56 p.m. on Dec. 10 at Target, 1200 Baltimore Pike, police said.

The man and woman seen above loaded baby formula into a shopping cart then tried to leave the store without paying for it and were confronted by security, according to police.

That's when police said the man threw a car seat with a child sitting in it to the ground.

Police said the man and woman then fled the area and Target workers tended to the child.

However, police said the woman came back to get the child before police arrived.
